  • Drain thoroughly, then coarsely pulverize without adding water in a mixer jar.
  • Make dough balls the size of large lemons.
  • Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet that has been lightly greased.
  • Roll the ball out by hand into a compact disc or use a roller while keeping it between two sheets. This is typically done by hand.
  • Spread two tablespoons of the stuffing over the disc, leaving a 1/2 cm border.
  • Make a ball by gently bringing together all the edges.
  • Make each ball in the same way, then steam the Siddu for 15 to 20 minutes in a steamer that has been lightly oiled.

  • Cook for 5–6 minutes after adding more water.
