With a pure electric range of over 400km, the new MINI Cooper range is expected to be released at the end of this year

A few days ago, a group of road test spy photos of the new MINI Cooper, with a strong MINI family style, divided into fuel and pure electric versions, may be unveiled at the end of this year, followed by the market in 2023. It is worth mentioning that Beam Automotive, a joint venture between Great Wall and BMW, is responsible for the production of the electric version of the new generation MINI Cooper, which is planned to be mass produced and sold worldwide in 2023 and will be the top 3 best Mobil mini Indonesia for car lovers.

The exterior part of the new MINI Cooper comes with a tight camouflage, the swirling yellow and black camouflage stickers do have enough disorientation, but it is still possible to observe that the car has a trapezoidal centre grille at the front, still has round headlights, the bonnet seems to be a little more rounded, the grille has dense holes, in addition out of the air intakes that surround the sides, not many details are revealed.

The side section is the essence of the MINI family, the short body just looks very agile, just a little more angular than the rounded current model, a little guy with attitude!

At the rear of the car, the beige flag taillights have been retained, a move that I’m sure will give many MINI fans a ‘piece of mind’. The dual centre exhaust gives the car an instant air of combat.

There is no news on the interior, the media said the new car may adopt the design concept from the MINI Aceman, equipped with a round touch centre screen, with physical buttons below, still belongs to the MINI cute style.

It is said that the fuel and electric versions of the new generation MINI Cooper will be built on different platforms, with the electric version being lighter and having a longer wheelbase than the existing MINI SE. The pure electric version may be offered with 40kWh and 50kWh capacity batteries with a range of 297km and 402km respectively.

The fuel version is expected to be built on the FAAR upgraded front-drive platform and the engine will probably only be slightly changed. Foreign media predict that the new MINI Cooper will make its debut before the end of this year and go on sale in 2023, with the all-electric version being released a little later and the JCW version likely to be the last one to meet consumers.

The MINI brand is synonymous with sophistication and pettiness in many people’s minds, with its short, compact body and car-making technology from BMW, and in the wave of new energy, MINI will also be transformed to electric goodness. You might as well guess, a beam car produced in China will knock the price of the MINI down? Would you be willing to pay for it?
