Although chips, burgers and fries are regarded as one of the most harmful foods we can consume, they’re still among the most popular food items at many fast and casual food joints, particularly in urban areas.

This is why these food items (that contain a lot of fats and sugar, such as pastries, cakes, burgers and more.) are referred to as comfort foods.
