What is an ADR Tank?

An ADR tank is actually a diesel tank, but the term has become so widely used that it has become a product name. Our ADR tanks are available in different sizes and materials. ADR is the abbreviation for European Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road and the meaning is translated as: transport of dangerous goods by road and off-road. This means that an ADR tank must be manufactured to comply with European safety regulations and ISO requirements. In addition, they must be inspected by an approved testing body on an annual basis. In order to purchase an ADR tank for use in traffic and thus transport the tank on roads and around people, basic training is required – if the tank is over 1000 liters. This training can be carried out by various specialist training organizations and usually takes 1-2 days depending on precisely what you need to get approved for.

But we also have a lot of experience in developing special solutions for our customers. We have engineers who can design a special model for your particular purpose.
