Motu Patlu is a cartoon series produced by the Indian studio Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd. The show is about two friends, Motu and Patlu, who are always involved in mischief and adventures.

Motu has a strong bond with his family, but his father does not like him as he does not have a job. His mother works hard to earn money for the family and his little brother, Chhota Motu, always tries to help her in any way he can.

Patlu is the main character of the show. He is a lazy cat who loves sleeping and eating. He also hates going to school and would rather spend his time sleeping or playing pranks on Motu.

Motu Patlu (Hindi: मोतू पाट्लु) is an animated Indian comedy television series, which premiered on Nickelodeon India on 30 July 2011. The show is produced in India by Green Gold Animations, and is based on the characters from the 2009 film Motu Patlu: King of Kings, which was released on 16 May 2010.

Motu Patlu is broadcast worldwide on Nickelodeon and Nick Jr., and is available in Hindi and Telugu languages.[1]

The show follows two characters named Motu Patlu who are supposed to be friends but often quarrel due to their conflicting personalities. They live together with their pet dog Chutki in a fictional city called “Chutnification”, a place where all the citizens are dogs.[2] Motu is a well-behaved boy who wants to become a police officer but has no interest in studying; Patlu is a naughty boy who likes to play pranks on people and also doesn’t like studying.[3][4]

Moti and Patlu are two friends. They are always getting into trouble. Moti is fat and slow and Patlu is skinny and quick. The duo have a common enemy in the form of Dr. Jhatka who always tries to catch them, but fails miserably each time.

Motu Patlu’s most famous gadgets include the Pudiya Padum Vethalaya (a box that can teleport objects), Oru Bali (a robot), Mummy (a human-like robot), Oti (a flying vehicle) and many more.

Motu Patlu is an Indian animated television series produced by Green Gold Animation. The show premiered on Nickelodeon India on 19 June 2018. It airs every Saturday and Sunday at 4 pm (IST). The series is based on characters from the comic strip Motu Patlu by Pran Kumar Sharma, who created them in 1986 for his Hindi-language newspaper Amar Ujala.

The show revolves around a cat named Motu and his dog friend Patlu, who are detectives in their village.[1] They solve mysteries with the help of their friends Chutki and Jhaliya. Motu is short-tempered but intelligent, while Patlu is calm and thoughtful but not very bright.[2] The duo often get themselves into trouble because they are more concerned about food than solving cases.[3] They live in a houseboat called “Tooti Fruity” which belongs to their owner Rajnikant Singhania.[4]
