Getting prepared for the Upper Mustang trek is important for a comfortable experience. While it is recommended to avoid trekking during the monsoon season, this region benefits from its rain shadow and can be visited throughout the year.

Packing Tips

A proper planning and perfect packing can make or break your trekking experience. Having the right gears can help you stay comfortable and safe during the trek. But over-packing can lead to unnecessary weight and trouble.

From June to September the weather is perfect for trekking in Upper Mustang. However, it might rain so waterproof clothing and a pair of sturdy boots are required. Altitude Sickness
