visit one of the many vineyards

Dallas is home to many vineyards, but if you’re new to the area, it can be hard to know which ones are worth your time. We’ve done the research for you and compiled a list of some of our favorite spots.

The Vineyard at Grand Prairie

Located just outside of Dallas, The Vineyard at Grand Prairie is one of the most popular vineyards in Texas. With over 20 years under its belt, this winery offers visitors a unique experience that includes wine tastings and events such as weddings or business meetings. They also host regular concerts where patrons can enjoy live music while sipping on their favorite vintages.

In addition to their expansive property that includes an outdoor amphitheater with cabanas and fire pits that are perfect for relaxing after spending the day touring their winery (which also has an attached tasting room), they offer educational tours through their vineyard available by appointment only so visitors can see how grapes grow before making it into your glass!

jump on the Red Rock Balloon Tours

The Red Rock Balloon Tours are a great way to see the city from above and take in some of its most beautiful landmarks. You can choose from three different tours:

  • Morning Tour (7:30 am – 12noon): This is a good option if you want to see the city before it becomes busy with tourists. The tour is available year-round and lasts about two hours, so you’ll get some quality time in one of these pretty balloons (you can choose between a hot air balloon or a hot air balloon with a basket).
  • Afternoon Tour (1 pm – 5 pm): If you’re looking for something more laidback, this might be your ticket! This tour lasts four hours, so it’s perfect if you have some extra time on your hands.
  • Evening Tour (7 pm – 11 pm): This takes place after sunset and gives guests an opportunity to see downtown lit up at night as well as some other cool sights like Reunion Tower and Lower Greenville Avenue.

Go to The Stockyards

In addition to its permanent collection, The Modern hosts rotating exhibitions throughout the year that feature cutting-edge artists working in multiple mediums across a variety of subjects—from fashion photography to contemporary sculptures created out of construction materials like steel rebar or concrete blocks.
