News|New colours for the Euro 5 pass! 2023 KAWASAKI NINJA 400/Z400 European launch

The Kawasaki Ninja 400 and its twin street bike brother the Z400, both popular in Taiwan, are now available in Europe for the Kawasaki 2023 model year! The main change is that the new year engine complies with Euro 5 environmental regulations, allowing the two bikes to continue to be sold in Europe.

2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400

The 399c.c. parallel twin-cylinder DOHC engine of the 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 has been adjusted to comply with the Euro 5 emissions regulations, maintaining the maximum power at 45ps/10,000rpm and reducing the maximum torque by 1Nm to 37Nm/8,000rpm. LEDs, 310mm floating discs with twin-piston calipers and a sliding clutch are all retained, and the bike still weighs 168kg.

The twin-cylinder Z400 shares the same 399c.c. parallel twin-cylinder DOHC engine as the Ninja 400, and also maintains the same maximum power of 45ps/10,000rpm and torque of 37Nm/8,000rpm in compliance with Euro 5 emissions regulations. The bike is also available in Candy Lime Green / Metallic Black and Pearl Mechanical White / Metallic Matte Graphite Grey.

The Ninja 400 and Z400 have been introduced by Kawasaki’s distributor in Taiwan, Taizaki Heavy Machinery, and it won’t be long before we see the Euro 5 compliant Ninja 400 and Z400 on the road.
