Inbound marketing

Inbound marketing is a specific strategy of attracting customers using content. Yes, it is possible to make the public buy your products, but this needs a waiting time and it depends on each business and the space you want to occupy. It takes patience for the strategy to work.

Inbound marketing is responsible for an “unconscious” purchase, because the product of the sale will be included in the content, which most of the times are texts on blogs and websites. These texts contain links, images or videos that speak directly about the product. Got the logic?

The person visits the website or blog to read the text and then finds a link to a product that has a connection with the text. With that, the chances of the product being purchased are much higher than paying for an advertisement on Google or other search engines, because people generally don’t click on ads — they prefer organic traffic, the one that is in line with the platforms.

Many people receive advertisements because of the algorithm of a social network that has understood what their personal tastes are and has delivered the content of a profile or page that is in line with the desires of the public.

Outbound marketing

Outbound marketing is called “traditional marketing” by many advertising professionals. It’s the way most people know about advertising and marketing. It has become very common on social networks: people are used to ads for clothes, perfumes or any other product that matches their profile, because the algorithm delivers the material to future customers. For example, a profile of someone who works out tends to get more ads about food supplements, energy and gym products.

Outbound marketing is talking or directly addressing the product or service you want to promote, so no “bait”. In this case, some people prefer to pay for advertisements, which can work if only the product or service is advertised. Paying for inbound marketing is not very advisable because the strategy is to attract through content.

Despite being a more traditional strategy and one that most of the public is familiar with, it is important to point out that many people find it irritating, especially when the publicity appears constantly. The chances of the public refusing your product are high.

But if you still want this form of marketing, it is good to be advised by a professional in the area who will help you structure the best approach, so that it does not become a nuisance for those who are on the internet and who also place your product or featured service.
