You are in the right place if this is your goal! You can draw many more characters like bow and arrow drawing, Anubis drawing, betta fish drawing, cobra drawing, blueberry drawing, coconut drawing and many more cool drawings.

Drawing of Axe

Step 1:

We will start with the ax blade to get this guide on how to draw an ax. We will utilize curved and linear lines to outline the blade. The edge to which the wood will be attached will be slightly bent, while the others will be a little more curved.

We will also draw a small cut on the sharp side of the blade. We will leave the bottom of the blade open for a moment because we will add more details to this part later. By the way, when you’re ready, we can continue!

Step 2:

Without the handle, an ax would not be practical and a little more than a clear newspaper. We will add a beautiful handle to this next step of your drawing through the axe. The handle has a very specific form, so you should consult the reference image when you draw.

The handle will be drawn with a very rolled line because we don’t want it to be a straight piece of wood. The room connecting to the base of the blade will be slightly wider, then narrow and wide when reintegrated. Finally, the bottom of the handle will also be a little rounded.

Step 3:

This third stage of our guide on drawing an axe will show that you will end the outline of the ax blade. To do this, extend another curved line near the left side of the base of the blade and toward the pointed edge on the right side.

The metal part of the ax will have the handle hanging there, and you can draw a narrow shape from the top of the blade to the top of the upper handle. It will end the sketch of the whole ax, and in the next steps, we can start with the best details.

Step 4:

As we noted in the last step of your ax drawing, we will start adding details to the ax in this next step. These details will be very small and simple but will make the axe more real. First, draw a line around the tapered spike of the blade, nearly but not exactly touching your neck on the blade you designed. There will even be a serial line near the rear edge of the blade to another subtle detail.

Finally, draw a slightly curved line near half of the handle, showing where the wood and the roof are for the beginning of the handle and the ends. You can also draw a little ring near the tip of the hold to complete this step. So it’s time to add some final details to the next step in the guide!

Step 5:

It’s almost time to add colors to your image, but we must first finish the final details of this stage of our guide on how to draw an axe. Again, these details must be simple but effective! First, draw an angular curve line on the axe blade. Then you can draw a little in the upper half of the handle to show the grain in the forest from which it is made.

Once these details are designed, you will be ready to move on! Before you do this, you can also add additional details and additions. Maybe you can draw the ax sitting on a table with other equipment you would use. What kind of background or additional details can you think of adding? Who would use it to the top level?

Step 6:

You have reached the last step of your drawing through the ax, which can end with amazing colors! Our reference image uses a dark gray for the blade and leaves a tip in a very light gray. We used a lighter variety of brown for the wood section of the blade, and then we ended with a few reds for the covered part of the handle.

It would be our color choices, but they are just a suggestion! You can use all the additional colors you like and have fun by choosing the media and art tools you will use to manufacture them. Be sure to have fun and see what is happening!
