Honda CR-V BLACK EDITION Launched in Thailand with Blackout Package

Honda 2023 has launched the CR-V BLACK EDITION in Thailand with an MSRP starting from 1,467,000 baht (approximately NT$1.25 million).

The CR-V BLACK EDITION is painted in pearl black and features a black chrome water tank cover, black front and rear bumper trim, black roof racks, black chrome door trim, 17-inch black painted aluminum alloy wheels, black painted exterior mirror caps, a panoramic electric sunroof, LED headlights with sequential directional lights, LED taillights and a BLACK EDITION nameplate on the rear of the vehicle. The interior of the CR-V BLACK EDITION is black with black wood grain and piano lacquer trim, and features a wireless charging dock for cell phones, a sensor-operated power tailgate, a 7-inch multimedia information screen and Apple CarPlay smartphone connectivity (including Siri voice control), and leather-covered seats with BLACK EDITION lettering.

The CR-V BLACK EDITION is powered by a 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC inline 4-cylinder natural gasoline engine with CVT and front-wheel drive, producing 173ps at 6,200rpm and 224Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. This is different from the 1.5-liter turbocharged engine used in China.

The current fifth-generation CR-V was introduced in 2016 and underwent a mid-life facelift in 2019, with Honda SENSING and 6 SRS airbags as standard in the domestic market. and 1.5 S (from NT$1,139,000).
