As a certified travel agent, international flight attendant, researcher, writer, educator and photographer for four decades, travel, whether for leisure or business, has always been an important and integral part of my life. About 400 journeys by land, rail, sea and air had to be made to all parts of the world, to destinations both domestic and foreign. This article focuses on the European population.
