HARLEY DAVIDSON chose to bring the Sportster® S to fans on a race track.

The 2022 HARLEY DAVIDSON Sportster® S was unveiled on April 26th at the Lippo International Circuit in Taichung. To echo the style of the race, HARLEY DAVIDSON not only chose the race track as the setting to meet the fans for the first time, but also invited the champion of the Asian Le Mans race, Chen Han Cheng, and the chairman of the Formosa Taishin Dreamers basketball team, Chang Cheng Chung, to attend the event.

The Sportster® S was joined by two celebrity Sportster® S enthusiasts, who demonstrate a style and expertise that is never limited in their respective fields, and the Sportster® S’s spirit of combining intelligent racing performance with muscular looks.

The event was also attended by Asia Le Mans champion Chen Hanchen and Formosa’s new Dreamers basketball team chairman Zhang Chengzhong. Unlike the utility vehicle Pan America 1250 V-Twin engine, the Sportster® S is designed for urban road use. With the 1250T V-Twin water-cooled engine, the Sportster® S is able to increase its torque performance by as much as 10% by means of valve adjustment, combustion chamber styling, camshaft and variable valve timing.

The Sportster® S is a great performer in terms of torque.

The Sportster® S features a full-colour, circular LCD instrument that not only displays navigation but also has Bluetooth connectivity. The bike is also equipped with a wide range of electronic controls, including ride mode, power mode, cruise control and cornering ABS, as well as an adjustable SHOWA 43mm inverted fork and SHOWA hydraulic canister split rear shock, front and rear Brembo four-piston calipers, 320mm discs and two-piston 260mm discs as standard.
