Day 1: 

On the route from Rishikesh to Lohajung, the Pindar River, Alaknanda River, and the towns of Karnaprayag and Tharali are all discernible (2316 meters). The 12-hour trip might be finished in 12 hours by bus or cab. A good place to stay the night is Lohajung.

Day 2:

The following day, you will travel from Tilandi to Lohajung via Daldum, a town you passed by on the previous day’s ascent. About 4 kilometers separate Lohajung from Daldum.

Day 6: 

Depending on your mode of transportation, you return to Rishikesh on the sixth day. After a 12-hour drive on the road, the Brahmatal trek comes to an end here.

Things You Should Bring on the Brahmatal Trek

  • Carry a pair of waterproof hiking boots with good traction and ankle support for your trek. 
  • Carry three layers of warm clothing: fleece jackets, padded jackets, and two or three-layer coats. 
  • Two or three pairs of light cotton trekking pants are recommended. 
  • Three dry-fit, collared t-shirts: T-shirts with long sleeves to guard against sunburn on the arms and neck. 
  • Sunglasses: They are necessary. The path will have a lot of snow on it, which could lead to snow blindness.
