Bihar Pollution Control Board (BPCB) will be conducting online registration for all its departments. To register, you need to visit the official website of BPCB and follow the instructions given in the website. The payment of registration fee is made through online mode only.

The Bihar Pollution Control Board (BPCB) has been working on various projects related to environment protection, awareness and education. It is one of the best organizations that help people in saving their life from pollution. This organization has been working since 1992 and provides solutions to various environmental problems.

It was constituted in the year 1974 under the provisions of the Water (prevention and Control of pollution) Act, 1974. with an aim to protect public health against air pollution caused by industrial effluents, vehicular exhausts, domestic smoke etc.

The main objective behind establishing this organization was to control air pollution that is harmful for human health and also affect agriculture production adversely due to smog in different parts of India including Bihar which makes it a threat for national security as well as economic growth of country.

Industries Registration Process

An online feature industry registration allows applicants from the industry to sign up for the application and use it to request authorization, consents (CTE/CTO), and other features. He will be able to create the temporary user name and password using this industry, which he must use within the allotted period. After Industry uses the temporary user name and password for the Consent Application, his documents and details will be verified, the user name will be confirmed, and he will have access to it going forward. Industry must re-register in order to use the online application if it does not use the temporary user name within the allotted time period after which it will be deleted from the database.

  1. Development of policies related to environmental protection and pollution control;
  2. Regulation, inspection and monitoring of industries;
  3. Monitoring air quality in different cities/towns;
  4. Setting standards for different types of industries;
  5. Issuing licenses for all industrial activities with certain conditions attached to them;
  6. Providing information about the availability of raw materials required for production processes, etc.;

  9. Plantation Plan
  10. Copy of Memorandum and article of association
  11. Cooy of Partnership Deed
  12. Copy of Registration in Trade and industries Department or copy of Industrial Entrepreneur Memorandum (IEM)
  13. Environment Impact Assessment Report (If any)
  14. Copy of No Objection Certificate of Local bodies
  15. List of Industries, Village, Rivers, Lankes and other salient features and distance from site within a radius of 5/10Km
  16. The Original Authorization Letter
  17.  Layout Plan along with land area statement
  18. Brief Description of manufacturing process, Process flow chart
  19. Information compliance of effluent discharge with respect to prescribed standard
  20. Information on compliance of Emissions of Air pollutants with respect to prescribed standard
  21. Information on compliance of Emissions of Air pollutants with respect to prescribed standard
  22. Information on compliance of Condition of water consent and water consent renewal Granted.
