Anonymously Instagram story viewer apps for Android

by admin

With many people exploring the second screen by way of social media, it only makes sense that they’d want to enjoy the platform while remaining anonymous. Enter Instagram stories.

The Instagram Stories feature has been around for a little while now. It was released by the social media giant back in August 2017. And this trend of Instagram users posting stories has just continued since then, even with the changes to the original format.

With that in mind, you may want to create a private account, so you don’t have to worry about your own post being published on the social media platform’s page. But what is the best way to keep your identity and other information private while still viewing the stories your friends post?
Further, Smihub is an online webpage to see Instagram stories of your friends anonymously. Smihub is totally free to use and has a friendly interface for users. Nowadays smihub makes it possible to see Instagram stories without describing yourself.

Here are five popular app that have been recommended by some of our Android Authority editors.

1. Quiet.ly

Quiet.ly allows you to keep your identity protected while browsing through stories posted by your friends and family. The app is free and has a few basic features to help keep you anonymous. For instance, it does not require you to provide your name when signing up or using the app.

It’s similar to a couple of other apps in that it enables you to follow accounts, but these don’t require you to give your name, so you can easily browse through stories and even get notifications about them without revealing anything about yourself. And there’s a special feature that allows you to view posts without adding anyone else to your contacts and allowing them to see your stories.

You can install Quietly on Android and iOS.

2. Watch.ly

Also similar to Quietly, Watch.ly’s main appeal is that it offers you the option to view Stories without posting. It enables you to see the stories that are in your friends’ stories. It also provides you with the option of having a conversation with the person, so you can ask a question, comment, etc. You can view their story from their account, and they will be able to respond.

After you open the app, you have the option of creating an account so you can keep your information safe. The app also has a handful of other features that keep you anonymous and on top of the most popular ones you’ll find in other apps.

The app is available for iOS and Android.

3. Da Silvano Camera

Another app that keeps you from posting may be the Da Silvano Camera, and the simple reason for that is because it is also known as the tamperproof camera app. The app doesn’t work in Instagram Stories, but it lets you record videos of your friend’s stories, so you can decide whether or not to add your own story in the post. The app also lets you share these videos in some social media platforms.

The app is available for iOS and Android.

4. UC Browser

This list wouldn’t be complete if UC Browser didn’t make it. In addition to watching and viewing stories, the app also offers you a ton of other features, including a video gallery, and even a photo gallery. You can also read e-books using the app. You can get UC Browser for Android and iOS.

5. SnapChat

Not to be left out is the popular Snapchat app. You can choose whether you want to see stories or not, which also makes it difficult to go private. What you do know, though, is that you can send people snaps or stories from other friends.

The app is available for iOS and Android.

We’ve definitely been using these apps for the last few months to keep our identities safe while we continue to enjoy the other functionality that they provide. These apps are in addition to the apps we mentioned at the beginning of the article. However, we wanted to stay focused on the Android social media platform.
