How to preserve lettuce, spinach, and other leafy greens:    

All of the leafy greens will remain safe in your refrigerator. The only way to increase the life of these green leaves is by cutting them. You will need to cut these leafy veggies from the end of the head. After cutting these leafy veggies, wash them under fresh tap water. It will remove all the dirt from the leaves. Make sure you do not forget to discard the dead and wilted leaves. After thoroughly washing the leaves, take paper towels and dry all leaves. After that, you need to take two to three paper towels and roll them gently in them. Secure the paper towel with the rubber band.  

How to preserve the beetroot:

Beetroot is relatively easy to preserve than leafy vegetables. You will need to wash and remove the dirt from the beetroot to store them. After cleaning, you will need to remove the root from the beetroot. You can leave at least one or two inches of stem. You can store the beetroot after cutting it in an airtight container. You can cut the beetroot into small pieces. Now place them on a wet paper towel to keep them moist. Choose an airtight container or Ziploc bag to keep the cut pieces of beetroot with the damp paper towel. You can also freeze the beetroot for an extended period.   

How to store cabbage:    

The best way to preserve the cabbage is in the fridge. The process is effortless. Wash the cabbage to remove the dust from it. After that, cut the cabbage into small pieces. Take a plastic bag and add all the cabbage in it. This way, your cabbage will remain safe in the fridge for a few days. Know that you cannot freeze the cabbage. Another way to store the cabbage is by pickling.   

How you can preserve your carrot pieces:    

The process of preserving carrot pieces is the same as beetroot. All you need is to cut the carrot into small pieces. Like beetroot, carrots can also dry out. Place the carrot pieces on a wet paper towel or dip them in cold water to keep the carrots moist. Cover the container to ensure no dirt or debris can get in the water.
